Orders shipped outside the U.S. will likely incur UPS brokerage fees, customs fees, tariffs, duties, value added tax (VAT) and/or other fees imposed by your country. Detour Gear Zone is not responsible for these fees, and we have not included them in your shipping charges. You will have to pay these fees. If you refuse a package, we will subtract from your refund any fees and additional shipping charges that we incur. If you have any doubts about additional fees, please contact your local customs office before you place your order.
We perform Address Verification on every credit card. Your order could be delayed or cancelled if your bank does not provide Address Verification Service. To expedite your order, please use a credit card issued by an American bank whenever possible.

Oversized & Hazardous Items
Sales Tax
Detour Gear Zone is required to charge all applicable state and local sales
tax on orders shipped to states where we have a physical presence. Some taxing
authorities also require the taxable amount to include any shipping and handling
charges, while others charge sales tax only on merchandise. We are required
to follow the rules of each state.
Gift Cards—No sales tax is charged when buying gift cards. The appropriate
sales tax will be charged on the purchase when the gift card is used.
